Quigley Visit - More

We did the Seoul City Bus Tour (which I totally recommend, by the way) to see the most of Seoul in a short time.  We stopped off at a couple palaces.

 

Later in the week, we spent an evening at the beach hanging out with the scouts.

Quigley Visit - Hwaseong Fortress

Ben's dad was able to come out for a visit in June.  He was here about a week, and I think we really wore him out made good use of the time!  One of the first things we did was visit the Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon.

 

The wall has all of these angled holes for battle.

Captain Quigley.

This weekend, Ben promoted from 1st Lieutenant to Captain!  His commander, LtCol Chargualaf, said some kind words...

...then the official promotion was read...

...then I got to pin on his new rank!

And in true tradition, I ensured his rank was sufficiently "pinned".  I smacked them so hard he bled a little.  Oops!

Then LtCol Chargualaf administered the oath.

Sweet Ben gave me flowers and a balloon congratulating me on my "promotion" to major.  As he says, I always outrank him, so when he pins captain, I get major.  :)

The first three months.

So... we're pregnant!

We're due December 1st, 2012, which puts me at 13 weeks.  We're super excited!  I've been seeing a Korean doctor since the beginning and they keep a pretty close eye on things, so I have a whole bunch of untrasound pictures to share!

West Coast Camping.

We finally found a sweet camping spot on Korea's west coast.  Near Mallipo beach, this little cove has a less-developed campground right on the beach.  It's perfect!
